Auchan Retail – Supporting Core Model urbanization and interoperability
Auchan Retail is launching a major transformation aiming at creating a common multichannel and digital brand across all group entities. To support this transformation and gain efficiency, Corporate IT has to collaboratively define with countries a binding framework for Information Systems urbanization and interoperability, and help deploy Core Models (processes & solutions) across all entities.
Oresys supported Auchan Retail’s Corporate Architecture unit in defining the target architecture for these common solutions and their implementation trajectory: architecture governance, definition of the tool-based urban planning approach, co-construction of Core Model solutions’ target architecture, supporting entities in mapping their IS and its evolution.
Oresys’s support enabled the definition of Core Model functional coverage, mapping and controlling the group entities’ IS and its evolution, as well as making the architecture more controlling.
Following the acquisition of the WMF group, leader in culinary articles and professional coffee machines, a new professional Business Unit was created within the Seb group. The challenges are to support the BU’s strong growth, enable the conquest of new markets and improve service levels and profitability for customers. In this context, it was decided to harmonize and improve back office processes and IS: Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Controlling and Field Service Management.
Oresys supported Seb in project framing: strategic project objectives, use case definition, master data management, functional and application target definition including analysis of different scenarios with S/4 HANA and Salesforce, and deployment roadmap definition.
Oresys brought its proven enterprise framing and architecture methodology. By adapting it to the SAP and Salesforce context, Oresys enabled the Seb group to make the right decisions, achieve framing that allowed project launch and controlled implementation from technical, functional and financial perspectives.
Healthcare (confidential) – Building the IT roadmap
Our customer, an international medical biology laboratories group, is mainly involved in clinical study biology.Due to its very strong growth, General Management needs to completely rethink the BU’s IS to align it with its development strategy, integrating all dimensions: strategic, digitalization of professions and customer relations, technological (move to cloud, AI, product management). The challenge is to turn the future IS into a competitive advantage.
Oresys intervened to redefine the IT roadmap, at the crossroads of urban planning, technical architecture and business roadmaps.
Our proven methodology and knowledge of the clinical trials business enabled us to meet all the business and technical objectives, and to define concrete action plans for General Management, the Digital Department and the IT Department. The roadmap also highlighted key milestones (tiered approach) with associated value creation.
