A key activity for company performance and customer satisfaction
Sourcing, producing, storing and distributing while maintaining a high level of service is becoming increasingly difficult in a turbulent economic climate. The set of constraints is tightening:
evolving customer expectations: speed, immediacy, real time, limiting environmental impact
need to cut costs and increasing working capital requirements
new regulations: ZFE, ecotax, etc.
But there are still levers for action:
digital technologies: RFID, connected objects, drones, etc.
automation
multiple logistics configurations …
The paradox faced by supply chain players is still relevant today: the need to master complete business planning, while demonstrating a high level of reactivity and flexibility.

Among our best stories
Système U – Selection of a route optimization tool
Over 650 stores offer the “Courses U” delivery service to their customers, either with their own fleet of drivers and trucks, or via collaborative platforms such as Shopopop or Ypper. In order to optimize the quality of service offered to its customers and boost productivity, the U group has decided to equip itself with a route optimization tool.
Oresys supported Système U throughout the tool selection phase, from drafting the specifications, launching and monitoring the consultation process, to preparing a trial with 2 short-listed publishers, and summarizing all the offers.
Our in-depth knowledge of the delivery sector, combined with our expertise in the tool and integrator selection phases, gave Système U all the information they needed to make their decision and choose the tool best suited to their needs and context.
PickUp Services – Implementation of a parcel tracking tool in several European countries
Pickup Services develops and markets software solutions specialized in the management of relay point networks. Against a backdrop of strong growth, the Colis21 program was launched to enhance the performance, scalability and ergonomics of the company’s parcel tracking tools.
Oresys was entrusted with cross-functional management of the Solution project, whose various products were produced in Agile mode. Oresys was also responsible for managing deployment in several countries, including drawing up and monitoring the migration strategy, preparing deployment kits and providing start-up support.
Oresys’s expertise in project management and change management enabled the deployment of more ergonomic and intuitive business applications in the 26 countries covered by Pickup. This project facilitated the delivery of the 400,000 parcels received by the network every day.
Geodis – Integrating a carrier into processes and IS
Following the acquisition of GANDON Transports by Geodis, and after studying various scenarios, Geodis decided to integrate GANDON’s activity into its own information systems and processes.
Oresys guided Geodis in the organization and carrying out of studies regarding the distance between GANDON processes and tools and its own (perimeter: Finance, HR, Transport Operations, Customer relations). Oresys took part in the overall management of the project, in the definition of turnovers plans and is in charge of direct projects.
Oresys’s excellent knowledge of freight transport and of Geodis’s context enabled us to get up and running within little time and bring a precious assistance in preparing all the planned turnovers.
