Denkavit – Project Management and contracting authority support

Project management
Denkavit holds 50% of the market share in selling fatted calves to slaughterhouses. Denkavit enlisted ORESYS to manage international projects while also familiarizing teams with project methodology : implementation of a Transportation Management System (TMS), overhaul of sales activities for veal calves, managing feed orders for farms, and handling contracts with breeders.
Oresys addressed all project stages collaboratively with business and IT teams : project framing and planning, process formalization,specifications, request for proposals, change management, design, development monitoring, testing, deployment, and RUN mode implementation.
In addition to these project completions, these efforts fostered closer ties between countries and between business and IT teams, enhanced Denkavit’s project methodology, and improved the maturity of stakeholders regarding project management.
Système U – Support for the cashing system replacement project

The Système U group wanted to replace its cash register system, which had become obsolete and difficult to maintain. This solution, deployed on over 14,000 checkouts in around 1,200 stores, is used for all services requiring cashing: store checkouts, U-Scanning, SCO, Courses U, etc.
Oresys supported the IT and business teams in the framing, implementation and management of the project: “in-house development VS vendor solution” upstream study; “cashing overview” benchmark of the main retailers; assistance with project management; functional support during the general design, detailed design, qualification and preparation phases of the technical pilots.
With the support of Oresys, Système U was able to achieve the various milestones of this major project on schedule, while guaranteeing that the objectives set by the group were met, in particular control of the specific level of the new solution.

The IT Services Department of La Poste Group is responsible for the IT activities for the support fonctions of the Group and for the companhy’s cross-sectoral projects. The Enterprise Architecture (AE) aims to ensure the alignment between IT developments and the group strategy, as well as manage interdependencies between projects. Its challenges are to add more value to projects and to position itself ahead of projects, by providing business and functional insights.
Oresys supported the AE department in the following projects: support in the framework of the Group’s transformation projects transformation projects (Finance, HR, Logistics, etc.), carrying out of Architecture studies for various IT fields, and support in the team’s transformation (AE approach, methodological framework, Visual Management implementation, Seminar and team meeting organization, etc.).
Oresys’s intervention fostered collaboration within the team and with stakeholders, enabling the department to transform and be recognized for the value it brings both project management and contracting authority teams.
