Seqens, a global player in the synthetic pharmaceutical products, specialty ingredients and cosmetics markets, manages over 400 CSR indicators across its 24 worldwide sites in order to meet regulatory requirements, address client and investor needs, monitor performance, and respond to non-financial rating platforms. Seqens aimed to modernize and improve this system to better montor indicators, and enhance CSR performance, reduce the CSR manager’s workload, and increase the reliability of results.
Oresys worked on framing the new CSR indicator management tool, followed by overseeing its development and implementation:
– Gathering requirements, defining indicators, collection methods, calculation, and reporting
– Formalizing the requirements in a specification document
– Technical framing of the project, including architecture propositions and a projected schedule
– Managing developments and supporting deployment
RTE – Design of a Circular Economy action plan

Environmental Transformation
RTE, the French electricity transport network operator, operates 100,000 km of high-voltage lines, the largest network in Europe. Faced with an increasing number of renewable energy renewal and connection projects, RTE must integrate circular economy to ensure its supply sovereignty and preserve resources.
Oresys supported the RTE Environment Department in the development of a Circular Economy Action Plan, with a scope covering all of the company’s assets (overhead lines, electrical substations, etc.).
The mission involved:
– Defining an approach to build the action plan
– Building it, by instructing the actions with experts: analysis of costs and benefits, quantification of environmental impacts (GHG emissions and new materials saved), planning
– Preparing review and validation instances, steering the process.
Oresys’s contribution enabled RTE to set its direction for the next 7 years as far as circular economy is concerned.

Environmental Transformation
Car manufacturers are setting ambitious goals when it comes to reducing their carbon footprint. These ambitions have consequences on the whole supply chain. One of these constructors called in Oresys for a pilot project to assess the carbon impact of a sample of its products in the group’s various factories.
Trained to use the ADEME carbon footprint method, Oresys modelized the life cycle of each product, animated the approach to collect inventory data and carried out the assessment of impacts.
The results were made available to the customer via an adapted tool enabling the update of input data. They helped the customer identify ecodesign leads or compare some of their products’ GHG impacts with each other.
