RTE – Major offshore wind farm project

The Fecamp offshore wind farm project will provide approximately 500 MW of electricity through its 70 offshore wind turbines, with a total investment of €2 billion.
Oresys supported the project by establishing and managing the project management framework, fully integrating with the project teams.

The project was managed in a robust, reliable, efficient, and integrated manner across planning, budget, and risk dimensions. Deviations and variances were identified and addressed through mitigation actions, and opportunities to accelerate the schedule were implemented.

The Fecamp project met the planned delivery dates while staying within the overall budget and annual budget forecasts.

EDF – Hinkley Point Organization Project

EDF Industrial Directorate is involved in the construction of two EPR reactors in the United Kingdom. Its contributions are highly critical to the project, particularly given the strong focus on equipment manufacturing quality and the transition to the assembly phase.
Oresys supported the project by:
•Conducting an organizational assessment of the Industrial Directorate, identifying five improvement initiatives, and scoping them
•Leading some of these initiatives, notably improving risk management and developing a PowerBI data visualization system for KPIs and industrial activity indicators.
Monthly steering committees are now considered highly valuable by stakeholders
•Implementing a SharePoint Manufacturing Hub, shared across several EDF directorates and the client, to enhance the exchange of project management information and documents. The Manufacturing Hub is widely appreciated by all project participants.

Maturity Scan for Capital Projects

A tool for assessing the maturity of large infrastructure project management across four dimensions:
•Organization responsible for major projects
•Large project resources
•Management of a major project
•Response to contingencies

This hands-on, operational approach, conducted over 2 to 3 weeks by an expert, focuses on the essentials and provides:
•A visual maturity assessment based on targeted interviews and a few workshops
•A benchmark against other organizations and sectors where a similar approach has been implemented
•Recommendations for priority improvement initiatives
